Author Registration
- All presentation will be in-person in ESEC/FSE 2022.
- ESEC/FSE 2022 will be an in-person-first conference. There are no live virtual talks.
- All authors are strongly encouraged to attend the conference in-person, and present their papers in-person.
- However, some support for Q&A and attending talks will be provided via a virtual platform for those who cannot attend.
- At least one author per accepted paper needs to be registered before early registration deadline expires (Sep 25th).
- For each paper accepted for one of the tracks in the main conference (incl. FSE’20 and FSE’21) a 3-day main conference non-student registration is required. One full non-student in-person registration can cover multiple papers, if the person registering is author of multiple papers.
- For each paper accepted in Post-Conference events (Tutorials, Workshops, Doctoral Symposium, Student Research Competition, PROMISE’22), a student Author registration is sufficient.
- Only full-time students (Undergraduate, Masters, or Ph.D. students) are eligible for student registrations. Please use your educational institution email address for student registrations.
Registration Rates
- All rates are stated in Singapore dollars (SGD).
- All registration deadlines are set to 23:59 (UTC+0).
In-Person Registration
- Same rates apply to authors and non-author attendees.
- Includes access to the virtual platform for all Conference and Post-Conference sessions.
- Post-Conference Events include Tutorials, Workshops, Doctoral Symposium, New Faculty Symposium, Student Research Competition (Second Round), and PROMISE’22.
- In-person Post-Conference registration is an add-on to Main Conference registration. There is no standalone in-person Post-Conference registration.
- In-person attendees must comply with In-Person Attendance Terms and Conditions.

Virtual Registration
- Includes access to the virtual platform for all Conference and Post-Conference sessions.
- Author rates apply to all presenters in all Conference tracks and all Post-Conference Events. Journal First track presenters are also considered as authors.
